The most common question we get asked is "Why?", especially as there are so many overwhelming problems in the areas we often work...why bother going to help these places?
The answer is that we don't go to help places. We go to help people.
The people in the following pics and videos were kind enough to allow us to share their stories with you to show the world what real need, and real lack of access to care is like.
Please remember that the wounds and illnesses you are looking at are not for your entertainment or shock; these caused enormous suffering and pain to the patients, combined with the hopelessness of having literally nowhere to go.
Often we are lucky enough to be at the right place and time to be able to intervene and offer desperately needed help.
This is why we do this, and this video is dedicated to the courage of our patients and of my crew, who wade into a sea of human misery and do whatever they can to make it better.
God will blessing you forever

This is why I want to be a doctor I just want to help people, and I have always thought doctor is best for that. I am in undergrad now, but I can not wait til I can go on medical school and complete my training.

I somehow ended up at this video. I can not describe the emotions that i have after watching this video. Your day at work is much more harder than average doctor, but you still do it with smile and after it you go to sleep happy. I am so grateful that i had chance to see that people like you and your team still exists. this is what youtube should be for.....to promote videos like this, to promote humanity..... Wish you all the best from Serbia!
