  • The problem with music today is that there's no soul in it. When Jimi picked up a guitar and played and sang, you believed every word he sang because he meant it and expressed it with every ounce of passion he had. R.I.P. Jimi.

  • I clicked a Jimi Hendrix video, and some shitty Mike Posner crap came on. At first I thought I clicked the wrong video, but when I realized it was advertisement, I think a piece of me died.

Shitty music being advertised by a Jimi Hendrix video? I really hope Jimi's image isn't ruined in the next 5 years. Janie's killing him.

  • You can't compare today's music to the music of the 60's and 70's. There seems to be a pretty obvious reason too. If you look at the popular music at that time a lot of it was in response to the vietnam war and the hippie movement. Of course somebody doesn't want music to be that way. Maybe the record companies didn't make as much from real music as compared to what it was. So the great musicians don't get popular, because they don't get enough exposure to a grand audience.
