How lucky we are to have such magic on record. Gundula must be near the top of the tree in everyones list of great voices, ever ever,ever.

@lubeck321 I commented to friends only a moment ago that I wish that Mozart had lived AT LEAST twice as many years as he did. And as for Gundula Janowitz, I never grow tired of her voice. I am disappointed that so few of my music & opera-loving friends have heard of her until I tell them about her. When I play recordings of her for them, they are astonished at the beauty and technical focus of her voice.
