I Thought they had never played this song live! Must have been the one and only time. It's such a shame they never included this masterpiece in the regular set lists of the different tours they did afterwards.
That was extremely beautiful and thank you for sharing.

This song is a masterpiece. One of their best songs ever. i think they only performed it live a couple of times. This is from the Savage launch party and the other time was at the Town and Country Club in Kentish Town, London.
I simply love this song. Does not get much better than this. I love how it builds up.

this is so classic, gloomy, melancholic.. Beautiful lyrics, only "shame" beats this eurythmics song.

There is no artist around today who even approaches the Beauty and unforced Power of Annie...w/ Dave here....not to discount him! They are incomparable.

This live performance was done around the 1987 Revenge Tour era, as they had already worked on the songs for the SAVAGE album. I"m guessing they performed this one only a few times on tour to 'test it out" maybe... who knows. but it's clearly them from 1987 prior to Savage....it's NOT from the Revival tour.

This is actually from the Savage album premiere party. They may have done a one-off performance on the day of the album's release.

I've been in love with this song since that album got released but sadly it's more than ever a song of our present time.

True, the song has not aged at all. It's one of my favorite Eurythmics songs and deserved to be performed more often!
