On Saturday, June 2, 2012, Aviation Director José Abreu was honored by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of the "Excellence in Tourism Award" during this year's 90th Annual Dinner Gala and Silent Action. The Excellence in Tourism Award is an award given to notable individuals or companies whose insight, leadership and nobility have contributed significantly to the tourism industry in Miami Beach. A video presentation was produced by the chamber to depict why he was chosen and the important role MIA plays in our community. Enjoy and congratulations to Jose on a well-deserved recognition by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
