The Blue Nile seem to fit perfectly with Edward Hopper's pictures. See what you think. The track is called Saturday Night from the best album ever, Hats. Due respect to Chris Roberts, the music writer, who was the first person who I read making the link.

  • Very fitting music and video. Tastefully done video and music. I will definitely keep my eye on your videos. Just beautiful.

  • Just ordered a new copy of hats from amazon.Old one sticking and cant have that.

  • @raybig6693 Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

  • Very well done. I have always enjoyed both Edward Hopper's art and The Blue Nile's music.

  • Cant believe people are critical of the music or the vid.Its a great song and someone took the time to put these stunning pictures to the music.I think blue nile,Edward Hopper and the person who posted the vid should be praised, not given grief.I dont think Americans can get Blue Nile`s music, its a shame because they have done some amazing stuff over the years.Ive found that even in the UK its people in the north of England and Scotland that really seem into them.

  • I love the use of the Blue Nile's music and Hopper's paintings. Versus implies or dissonance, but I would say this is certainly not the case in this great video you put together.

  • This is a very apposite fit but has to be put into PB's northern euro context and what "Saturday Night" represented as growing up where we did.

Check out the album cover of their first album to get the "sense" of where the song comes from, not the American Tinsletown, but another place and time.

Bloody excellent melange though well done.

  • @VincentSuzat Worse than Leonard Cohen musical arrangements... lol
