Because we paid fuckloads to play it, then it's free not even 3 years after release, when Half-Life 1 still costs money 14 years after its release.

@bigredjew Yeah, I paid for it too. I'd hardly call the amount "fuckloads". I still don't give a shit, the people who paid were fairly compensated for having paid for it with features unavailable to those who did not do so.

@bigredjew Indeed it is, currently It has developed a lot of controversy in cities like san francisco, and new york, as there is a large gay ights base in those cities who say it is discrimintory to gays. The law is on the books, but in improperly enforced leading to a lot of misguided rapings, and with the current administration it is unlikely to be fixed. There is a rising political party (Stop the penises) (Or the NOPENIS party) but there goals are unclear and is muddled with homophobes
