I remember watcging the doctor as a kid with my mom back in the mid eighties. First new episode I saw after the return in 2005 was bad wolf with eccleston and the dalek I was hooked loved christopher as the doctor the right amount of humor and attitude. David tennant was awesome tie between him and tom baker as my favorite doctor. I have to admit I don't care for matt smith what I have seen of him as the doctor its like he's trying to hard to be kooky and wacky but that's just my opinion

@DistantDreamer93 Same here :D I'm now more of a classic Whovian than a fan of Matt Smith, etc (Colin and David are my favourites) with my favourite episodes being the likes of the Deadly Assassin, etc. But I love it all. Best thing was, mentioning to my nan and grandad that I watched the first ever episode of Doctor Who in 2005, and them telling me that it wasn't the first ever episode, and they told me about pretty much every DW episode and the film-turns out they love DW too xD

@DistantDreamer93 I was six years old when I first watched Doctor Who with Tom Baker...and that was waaaaaaaaay back in 1979. ;) And just as Tom & Lis Sladen (Sarah-Jane Smith) did back then, Chris Eccleston and Billie Piper hooked me in 2005 like a slave. Then, Tennant came in and carved his legend! And now, the Mozart-of-Doctors that IS Matt Smith! I have loved Doctor Who, literally, all my life. It premiered ten years before I was born. I hope it's still around long after I'm dead one day. :)

I was 11 years old when I first watched Doctor Who with Chris Eccleston...and that was way back in 2005. I completely fell in love with the show...became an obsessed fan in a matter of 45 minutes haha. I'm 18 years old now....time's gone so quickly! o_O
