Good point! Why didn't Desslok talk to the Magellan Empire first and ask them what they were doing? Then try to work something out? No, Desslok just had to start atacking right away, resulting in vicious damage, then ultimate destruction for Gamalon and Iscandar. In short, the chacotic end result was all Desslok's fault because he did not THINK before brutally atacking the unknown miners and delicate planet. Still, you've got to love the guy!

@Restitutus She is right. Dessler is so unreal. Just attractive to many just because he is cool, but a typical of enemy officers in 70's and 80's sci-fi war robot anime. They loved blonde, good-looking bad guys with some sad past. Don't ask me why.

Imagine what he would sound like if it was his american dubbed voice saying "our gamilas is gone. even though the planets end was destined... I didnt expect the end to be so cruel." He wouldnt sound serious, because his voice in the american dub is the not somber sounding voice. and Im still wondering how he fell and ended up kneeling...
