Have two catahoulas - they are incredible dogs. Funny how much yours acts like mine! They do love to play and interact with their "humans"!

Your story is exactly the same as mine! The only difference is my little guy Louie is STILL at the hospital being treated. We had him for 3 days then on Christmas night had to take him the the ER vet. Diagnosed with parvo and an upper respiratory infection he has been in the hospital for 10 days. Keeps your fingers crossed he comes home soon! Any tips on training him?

be careful with that ball....you'll wear your arm out before she's done. at least my catahoula will wear me out and still have lots left. and boy can she jump. my buddy is 6'5" and she made it horizontal with his face to lick him one night

Thanks again everyone. Its a pretty long video, so I appreciate your good words. An update on Izzy. We moved from N.Kentucky to N. California late this summer. She turned 3, and is finally calming down some. She still loves to run and play, and now I take her to the beaches and hiking here in Santa Cruz. I found a new park for her to socialize in. She is getting smarter all the time. People joke that there is a human curled up inside controlling this great dog. Take care all.

alright i appreciate the info, i do believe also that any dog can have a temper, i think its just catahoula's like some other breeds are protective and that can be good and bad. But i think your right in saying that i should stick with the border collie, a buddy of mine just had a litter of blue heeler/border collie pups so ill probablly pick one of those up.
