I am a native "New Mexican" who happened to land in Corpus Christi, Texas with the US Navy in 1960 and that is where I met my wonderful spouse and where I got to know and appreciate TexMex music by Agustine Ramirez, Freddy Martinez, and of course 'Little Joe'. I also liked "Freddy Fender" another great TexMex from Corpus. I attended that concert in Albuquerque with Little Joe y La Familia.
