Salma Yaqoob, who has regularly defended UK soldiers' welfare rights, explains why she believes British marine Lance Corporal Matt Croucher is a brave hero but why she chose, like many, to remain seated during an improptu and and politically opportunisitic PR standing ovation display in the Birmingham City Council House, actions which were shamelessly exploited by her opponents - namely the controversial Martin Mullaney - to shamelessly and falsely attack her character and long standing record of being against the illegal war in Afghanistan and Iraq, against terrorism and for the welfare and support of British soldiers, veterans and their families.

This the result of you English giving citizenship and rights to people who do not identify with the country. @Isaacnibblets What annoys me is, as Murray pointed out, how Respect are treated as a normal political party (even though they side with any Islamist whenever they can) just because they're left wing, but parties like UKIP are treated like extremists because they're right wing. Salma and Galloway will please whatever audience is in front of them, I've heard Galloway call the IRA scum / terrorists then I saw him on Gerry "Bomber" Kelly's talk show, romanticising the war and so on. Utter ingrates.

Of course she refused to stand for a brave British soldier; She hates British soldiers, as they often do.
