My tarantula Dohriz is molting. This is the first time I've watched a molt irl!
Just awesome!
It took 2hours and 15 min from the carapace come loose until my T stood up on her legs.

The younger the tarantula is the more it molts, as slings they molt very often. Once they reach a significant size they typically molt once a year. Boehmei's are slow growers so may molt less often then other species.

i have scorpions and planning to have my very 1st tarantula b.boehmei.. how many months before a tarantula molts? it depends in the specie right??
