I have since changed the legs out on the stove. I now have some threaded bolts that go on each corner and held on with wing nuts...couple more small parts and "set up" but WAY stronger and better.A couple people have asked what I made the stove body from......Well,I call it the "Triple B Stove" for a reason. It is a Cuisinart coffee box (stainless steel) that I got from Bed, Bath and Beyond(LOL! Hence the BBB Stove). It is just a stainless box that had a clear plastic air-tight lid on it. Enjoy!

The stove is all stainless steel. The legs will collapse on a hard surface (like my kitchen floor LOL!) but when used in the "wild" you can poke them into the ground making the stove very stable. The height can be adjusted and so far they support the weight of the stove and wood, but time will tell if they last. Im already looking at something more "bomb proof" but lightweight.

nice stove. What did you make the stove body from? I'd like to make my own for backpacking and putting in a small tent. I like the simplicity and lack of loose parts.

Very nice stove. Questions...you didn't mention what the stove is made from, and will the legs collapse as you add wood to the stove??
