Un breve sguardo in una famiglia in difficoltà per gravi disagi economici e affettivi. La nonna Irma è stanca e sempre affannata; il nonno Ivo svolge, nonostante sia in sedia a rotelle, ogni attività in casa, seguendo personalmente i nipotini; la loro figlia, Giovanna, è stravolta dalla instabilità economica del suo lavoro e dalle responsabilità verso i suoi due figli, trascurati dal marito da cui si è separata; Cristina, 12 anni, è in piena adolescenza e si isola con le cuffiette dell'i-pod continuamente nelle orecchie tranne quando non litiga con il fratellino minore; Michele, 7 anni, sensibile e tenero, addossa su di sé tutti i problemi della famiglia e trova come rimedio ai suoi infantili sensi di colpa, una dolorosa e rischiosa "soluzione".


A glance to an ordinary family undergoing some financial difficulties. Personal relationships are strained as a result of the poor financial conditions. Each family member strives for solutions. Granny Irma is tired and stressed by overwork; Grandpa Ivo, despite being forced on a wheelchair, is full of energy and looks after the kids and house encumbrances; Giovanna, a mother and daughter at the same time, is worried by the financial uncertainties of her work and is concerned by the huge responsibilities of having two kids to support, with an uncaring divorced husband; Cristina, Giovanna's 12 year old daughter, is in the middle of an adolescence crisis and seeks refuge to her problems by listening to the music all day long; the only break is when she quarrels with her junior brother Michele which is 7 years old. Michele is fair and sensitive, and feels responsible for the family problems. He finds a "solution" that endangers his health and puts him at risk of his life.


Un bref regard sur le quotidien d'une famille qui traverse une période de difficultés économiques. Les relations affectives pâtissent de la nervosité ambiante et des problèmes.
Chaque membre de la famille recherche l'équilibre.
La grand-mère Irma est fatiguée, épuisée par le travail incessant ; le grand-père Ivo, bien qu'immobilisé sur une chaise roulante, est plein d'optimisme, il s'occupe de la maison, et particulièrement de ses petits-enfants ; Giovanna, fille et mère, minée par la précarité de ses revenus, est aussi préoccupée d'être seule responsable de ses deux enfants, négligés par son ex mari ; Cristina , 12 ans, en pleine adolescence, se réfugie dans la musique qu'elle écoute sans arrêt sauf quand elle se dispute avec son petit frère. Michele, 7 ans, se sent coupable de tous les problèmes de la famille et trouve « la solution », en prenant des risques, avec une ingénuité toute enfantine, pour sa santé et peut-être même sa vie.
