Be encouraged wherever you are serving today, as Pastor Voddie Bauchum reminds us that there is no role that is too small for God to use to impact the Kingdom!

  • I appreciate the heart of this message: there are folks out there who feel unimportant, underutilized, insignificant and unnoticed - regardless of gender! But there are no "small roles" in God's kingdom... Only in the eyes of people. Thank God our identity and significance are found in Him.

    1 Corinthians 12

  • So women should be "small" supporters of successful men?

  • This is a perfect example of what a women should be. Not the distorted view feminism has fed us. We are supposed to be the nurturer and our mans cheerleader.

  • @Kramz1231 Those were just examples everybody can identify... also, I wasn't addressing respect. Where are you right now?

  • @Kramz1231 Respect has nothing to do with anything here... that is earned no matter who, or what gender you are. So mentioning it really isn't helping your opinion about this video. Secondly, the fact of the matter is that women are willingly abandoning their roles as keepers of the home to persue matters in the realm of male responsibility. If you don't believe this then you are just wrong and no one is going to persuade you otherwise... so continue to be wrong. But be ready to defend yourself.

  • @minott6 you don't have to raise famous children to get respect as a woman. You don't even need a husband to get respect as a Woman-- Imagine that! You seriously one of the smartest people I have encountered online.

  • @minott6 you are brilliant by the way! I respect WOMEN, regardless of whether they be wives, or bear children, or not, whether they be gay, or straight. Whether they raise children by themselves or with a partner. Whether they choose to be single and not have a family. They ARE ALL ACCEPTABLE. My problem with video's rhetoric is that it seems to say that women should take this first route, at the expense of being public proud assertive women.

  • This is ridiculous. We don't need this guy to tell us about remarkable women in history or that women have tirelessly done the quiet, ungrateful work of raising children. I love how he is talking in this epiphanic tone because Christians just realized recently the should respect women. WE RESPECT AND LOVE WOMEN! It is not something new. We don't need the bible or the pastor to tell us. We respect women in all their capacities. Whether they choose to be maternal, or life givers, or choose NOT to

  • @Kramz1231 And because you disagree... you post something stupid that misses the mark. "Small" means exactly what to you? Didn't you process the entire message? So wait... are you thinking because child birth is "small" compared to running for Congress that it is not more important? Excuse me? Tell that to Jesus' mother, tell that to every President's mothers, tell that to Einstein's mother. Raisng children at home too "small" compared to Wall Street? Tell that to Warren Buffet's mom. Idiot.

  • fuck this right wing propaganda fuck off!!!

  • (cont-4) whether you be male or female; and wherever you be in life it is the command of the Lord through his prophet:

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger. Zephaniah 2:3

  • (cont-3) For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalm 84:10

whatever humble state our lives our found to be in; it is by the account of Jesus the most blessed one; for in it we find the favor of the Lord himself upon our souls. It is the meek to who are made beautiful with salvation (Ps. 149:4), who inherit the earth, who are lifted up by the Lord, whose joy is increased in the Lord.
