I can't BELIEVE how many people take offense to this! I AM a southern girl and I thought this was freakin hilarious! Sterotypes exist for a reason so ya'll just suck it up. I mean, if he made those same jokes about people at the PGA would it be funny? No, it wouldn't make sense. But ALL of this fits if you go to a Nascar race. Rednecks are a little crqazy anyway, but you get them at a Nascar race and they're just off the chain. lol

Agreed. There are a few drivers from the NE as well but it is no longer a "redneck" sport. The stupid conception of rednecks hailing from the southeast - Appalachia? - is an error as well. I have been to many states in this country and there are rednecks - white, black and brown - everywhere. Just because you aren't in a Carolina doesn't mean there aren't rednecks. I have seen some even worse in Connecticut, believe it or not. There are rednecks in Europe. Go there.
