The version accepted by Orff exists. It's called the score. This movement is marked quarter = 152/ Allegro molto (very lively). These performers are slightly faster, perhaps 160. Anyone who does this slower is either lacking technique or lazy. Or both. Check it with a metronome. Maestro Italo Marchini.

Holy crap, I've never heard such a high tempo rendition of this... also, I doubt you'll see a video on YouTube of the version Orff accepted - he died in what, 1930 something? Those kinds of videos don't usually make it on YouTube - typical YouTube fair is more misleading people to a "Rick Roll" or labelling a video as "best moments of ____ show" and it turns out to just be a fan music video. >:C YouTube is pissing me off a lot...
