The newest music video from World Collision featuring footage from the 1922 silent classic Nosferatu!

This song was included in the new score World Collision wrote for a special screening of the film, which is in the public domain, during the Hallowscreen Film Festival held over Halloween weekend in Sarasota, Florida.

Due to the immense success of the screening, the band decided to release a copy of the film on DVD featuring their soundtrack! To purchase the DVD, please go to www.worldcollision.com.

The film was directed by Lori Bowen of Kimyoo Films who directed the band's award winning video "Essenger." You can learn more about her work by going to her blog at kimyoo-films.blogspot.com.

  • Thanks for subscribing me! What a great voice, and a very unique band! Saw ya at Skippers and became a fan!! Unfortunately I can not get down over the Skyway Bridge to catch you down in that neck of the woods, but hopefully I'll see you up in St Pete sometime soon!

  • @KimyooFilms I got my camera before the DSLR explosion. The workarounds for DSLR's are even worse. Hand held is a big no-no for DSLR..that right there alone prevents me from buying it. My other issue with DSLR's is actually the sensor. I can almost always tell when it's a DSLR, it's the way it processes the color.

  • @AcoustiksDrumnBass Most of the people I work with use DSLRs for their films. I totally acknowledge that DSLR tends to be better in low light situations and I knew that before I got my camera, but there's so much about a DSLR rig that I personally don't like.

I've got Nikon glass; the 50 f/1.8, a 35mm f/1.8, and the zoom lens that came with my still camera, but it needs a lot of light so I haven't used it on a shoot yet.

  • @KimyooFilms Nice! I use a static 35mm DOF adapter as well. It's based off of the jetset models design. I'm using the Canon Eg-a screen. Canon FD 28mm f2.8 and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8. I have seen your camera before...Much better sensor than mine. I'm using an HV20. If I set it to TV and bring the shutter down to 30, it's STILL bad in low light. If you look at the other videos on this page of the live performances, the handheld camera is mine. Poor low light performance is poor. :/

  • @AcoustiksDrumnBass Thanks! It's funny...I lost 2.8 fstops because I attached a 35mm adapter and a 50mm prime lens to my video camera to get that nice DoF. It adds a lot of mystery to the proceedings, too. I was so worried that I wouldn't get enough light into camera, but you have to love being able to play with the gain on set and the gamma in post!

  • Definite improvement over the last music video. I wish my camera could get that lowlight performance.I think the idea of using the projector and the dancer to project the image on. I'm not so sure about the lighting though. It is a little disorienting. I really don't quite know what is going on.There also is a few shots that are a little out of focus.

Other than that. Very good. The shot compositions are very good as well.
