Goldie Daws Passed away yesterday (December 6, 2009)
She had been having trouble using the bathroom on her own. She had something blocking her bladder. Doctors tried everything. We had to put her down. :,( One of the many risks that comes from leaving home for something like the Disney College Program...home won't stay on pause until you get back as much as you would like for it to.

Eeyore mixed with Dug.
She was shy but she loved everyone unconditionally.
She was humble.
She was sweet.
I'll miss her running around the room when she would get excited.
She was always there when I needed her.
We had a great 12 years together.
I put this video together with old clips and photos I found of Goldie on my computer. The song is called Goldie's Last Day by PFR. We named her after this song.

thank you for this beautiful tribute. When I had my best friend of 12 years (yellow lab mix) put down it was the saddest day of my life. It was 6 years before I wanted another dog. The second time around I am much more appreciative of my companion because I know what the future holds.

Thank you for sharing the video of Goldie with us. We were all so sad at the clinic when she passed away. It was even sadder for me because she passed on my birthday and because of that I know I will never forget her. She was such a sweet girl and I know she will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear this happen... I dread the day my boy Cisco goes to heaven, he has been with us for 8 years now... take car.

Aww Im so sorry to hear that. I just had to put my 5 year old alaskan husky down the day before Thanksgiving. =[ It's not easy...

I'm so glad that my Goldie video has helped so many with their own loss of a dog. It really hurts. I miss her still and recently we had to put down our other dog. It's devastating. Hang in their tho. It doesn't take God by surprise and he has a special purpose for all things...even the hard things.

Chilover07, thanks for taking such good care of Goldie!! She was a sweetheart. I loved to cuddle with her on the couch. I wish I could have been home to say goodbye to her.
