how the fuck can you do that without the engine killing? (im not a expert on atvs so if its a stupid question tell me)

@ClassicVideosOfYT Not a stupid question at all. Many ATVs that do this will have a snorkel kit installed, giving you a nice tube of air to the engine that is above the water. ON this Sportsman 700, the air intake is at the top of the front of the driver's seat... so as long as that area is above water, you can do this.
The engine is completely sealed except for the air intake and the exhaust. Hopefully, though, your exhaust is pushing air out (so on this vehicle its ok to be underwater).
