I came across with a federal case law that stated that DEAF is the one that use their mode of communication (ASL, etc) and not interperter's, like if I sign "yellow" it mean RED, NOT YELLOW and any interpreter can't correct me, so we correct them. Each Deaf get their own meaning for each sign based on the case law... other words, certified ASL interpreter is not qualified interpreter to complying with ADA. Neither RID, NAD nor state law can say they got qualified unless Deaf say so
Yeah, you are right. Thanks for sharing with us! We should sign for 2010 is 20-10. Not 200-10. Meaning we are living in 20010 instead of 2010. Yeah, it is our language that we used it. Good vlog.
