German police chase a VW T4. The driver just leaved his wife and was a complete mess. The police know to box him in.

Nope, the comentator explanes that the man was on the run after a fight with his wife. And police train in special closed area's, not on public roads...

Good job! Drive in front of the bad guy so he has a clear opportunity to take a shot! Utilize a PIT and none of that would need to happen.

Who sayed he had a gun? Cause he didn't. And doing a PIT at such high speeds (esspecially with a Van) is very, very dangerouse. Thats why it isn't done in Europe.

They are blocking him, not ramming. And after a chase they just take you out of the car. In Europe they (normally) dont pull guns and scream like mad-mans: "Get out of the car now!" :P

Wow, that police car on the right is so smart and knows how to block the van from getting through! Good job! But why can't American cops learn from this? Oh wait, nevermind, they have to do their old-fashioned hitting 20 civilian cars, injuring 15 people, and damaging the police cruiser style again.

lol, if this had been in America, the dude driving the T4 would have been shot, there would be 28 civilian vehicles and 4 signposts damaged, along with 2 police cruisers.

23 members of the public would have to see a therapists to cope with the post-stress trauma of a policecar crashing or almost crashing into them.

In total 8 police cars would participate in the chase, pushing the chase to 100+mph

In this situation, few policecars could safely stop the pursuit with now public safety issues.
