How did GM get away with filling bankruptcy when they received the BILLIONS from the tax payer bailout? What a sham! I thought the bailout was to prevent a bankruptcy I don't even think they needed the money to begin with! I feel GM's greed took the American people and our government for fools! And we won't ever get our tax dollars back. It makes me sick to hear how much there white collar employees are getting in bonuses when they still owe the tax payers billions!

Perhaps if pay was tied to performance then GM wouldn't be where it is. If line employees don't produce they should be fired. If the top doesn't run a profitable company they (should be fired but they) get a bonus. Is GM headquarters in Springfield?

Given the suicides, mental and physical health manifestations of laid-off employees affected by failed corporate leadership, criminal charges are warranted for negligence - think Costa Concordia.

@nateitong The saying goes with people as well. Many parents just toss money at their children when they need help but it just causes them to be dependent on that safety net built around them. Ever had roommates who are 35+ years old and hardly worked a day in their life? They just leech, like the system leeching off of it's people.
