  • Morgen is morning and tomorrow?

  • @jamesaellis: Well tomorrow means also morgen but in this case used to talk about time. morning means "Der Morgen" and is used as a noun. A bit confusing, I know but that's the way it is :-).

    Dein study-in.de-team

  • I wanna learn german so badly !

  • @audveltadmuna

English is never phonetic, each word has a random noise, the poor Germans have to learn by heart.

They'd need 6 vowels and 10 consonants more to spell it phonetically.

what about: game, geography, (2 G-noises)

aunt, action, after, awsome (at least 4 different A-noises)

umbrella, university, / intact, iron / christ , cheese....and many more.

There's noch "ch"-in english, but in irish or scots, "Loch Ness".f.e

Russians have extra letters for sh + ch-noise. Very useful!

  • Not bad at all! Love the graphics!

  • @superkillercrossover think of it as etwas.
