When going to a model train collectors' show, each time you pick up a vintage engine, piece of rolling stock or accessory, you can understand how the original engineer cherished it. No matter how wonderful that new "find" is, you'll never love it as much as you loved the ones you had as a boy. Yet we still try to capture the magic of our childhood. That's what keeps us searching for the perfect example of the one we didn't get in our youth. TRAINS, A LIFETIME INVESTMENT IN HAPPINESS!

I remember, when I was a boy, going to Macy's and Gimbels around Christmas time and looking at the store and window displays of the Lionel trains. It was a facinating time.
I still have the trains from that time long ago and my grandchildren are enjoying them now with grandpa's supervision.
