  • Pat Donohue does a beautiful version of Stormy Weather. This is not that hard to play for an experienced guitarist, but what I like is that he plays with integrity to the song. No gimmicks or tricks - just excellent technique and musicality. Don't know the man, but his presentation suggest the humility and sincerity of the true masters.

And his teaching is totally lucid.

  • I never said I *was* him. AND, if Pat Donohue is 1/8 as nice as ME, HE IS A FINE PERSON. The "other" Pat Donohue from NJ. A woman.

  • Can you find the tab? It's beautiful.

  • Beautiful arraingment. Does anyone have access to the tab?

  • Pat's an incredible player and teacher. I was fortunate to have taken some classes with him, and learned more in that short time than from years with other teachers. Listen to his "Two Hand Band" CD and then try to find a better fingerstyle player! A very patient and generous teacher, he has a thorough understanding and ease with the fingerboard, with chord voicings and theory, and a great gift for imparting this to his students. Thanks again, Pat.

  • so, I know I can't be the only one to notice this, but to be teaching a lesson, he sure does buzz a ton of strings...

  • What a great version, a great bloke and a great lesson. Thanks for posting. Jim UK
