The only Hoodoo book I own is "Sticks, Stones, Roots & Bones". It's more 'about hoodoo' from the outside than a how to book. I was kind of disappointed in it. The only New Orleans Voudoo book I have is "Jambalaya" by Luisah Teish. It's a very good autobiography, not a how to either. When you get into the 'real' of either path, it is quite different from the popularized sensationalized version.

Those are amazing books!! I too am a visual person, when there's pictures in books it's always a bonus! Have a great weekend! :)

Greetings, Since you seemed very anxious in your delivery, I would urge you to remember: "It is not about you; it is about the books!!!" I didn't come to your post to meet, or learn more about, you; but rather, to hopefully learn more about the text, and the tradition(s)!!! So, please don't feel anxious or nervous about your delivery, I doubt it will make a big difference to most of your viewers. However, if you give us more info. onthe text, I bet you will get more feedback! Best wishes/thanks

@dwolemurrayife Thank you! I will remember that next time! Also I'm very shy once the camera is on. I'm more clearer talkitive and sometimes goofy when i'm focusing on otherthings when filming. I am going to go in depth with my second book review. The camera will not be on me! :-)
