  • I meant to say "buy a bike."

  • I'm in college right now and my mom didn't save a dime, but it's okay she still fed me and put a roof over my head. But now I'm really determined to graduate with a very little to no debt. I'm going to buy a buy this week and find a job. Lord, please grant me favor.

  • The diligent prosper!

  • @Creolebway You should go if it will truly benefit you. Go to learn. Not to party. Not to let someone else do your work for you so you can pass (not saying you would do that, I don't know you :) Just know a lot of people who think the piece of paper is what's important-- it's not). My parents didn't prepare for me either. I have a Master's degree and a lot of debt. I don't regret the education. But I do regret the debt. Don't borrow too much. Only what you need to pay tuition and books.

  • "Work"

How DARE you ask that of me!?!?

  • Lots and lots of applications for grants and scholorships, then apply for more, and then even more. Then, work to pay for college, even if it means semesters off when things get tight. This will also pad your resume with actual work experience, which a lot of grads will be missing. Some employers will even do tuition reimbursement. Go to a lower cost college, where you go won't matter anywhere as much to future employers as some people would have you believe.

  • @Creolebway You can apply for grants (don't need to pay back).

  • what if i dont have parents that planned for my college should i just not go or..?

  • Thanks for Posting this video!!! Dave Ramsey is the best!
