Under the BCS system, certain schools are eliminated from championship contention before their season even starts. Undefeated teams from outside of the privileged conferences are offered only a verbal slap on the back. This is wrong. When the BCS imposes a glass ceiling on these teams, it is not merely denying fans bragging rights. It is robbing schools of the substantial institutional benefits—improved funding, alumni networks, publicity, and admissions numbers—that these playing opportunities would bring.

Does that mean that Oklahoma is also a crap school. The Non-BCS schools are 5-2 in BCS games with 4 undefeated teams. That is 4 teams that didn't get to move to the next round towards a championship. Utah destroyed Alabama. Boise crushed oregon and beat Oklahoma hands down. Both teams have finished undefeated twice, none of the 4 were even consitered for the title, even after beating the so called "best". THE BCS IS A FARCE AND WILL FALL TO A PLAYOFF EVENTUALLY.

ok now that TCU beat wisconsin im finally on the little guy bandwagon. Bosie State, Tcu have won big time games against big time teams. Its time they get a shot in the championship

@Vash1286 the pre season poll means a lot its how they keep their power conference teams in the running for the title....if LSU is #3 in the pre season poll and they only lose 1 game they wont fall very far even if they lose to an unranked team....florida lost to unranked ole miss at home and they still backed into the title game....the pre season poll is always stuffed with SEC and big 10 teams to keep other smaller schools out.
