@SSSDiaz7 3500? maybe if it had some carbon fiber and live axle. the next gen zeta platform supposedly will be lighter (not keeping my fingers crossed)

@waterboy7809 Yeah the ones assembled in Mexico and designed in the US; L76, L98, LS2, LS3 and LS7 only US built one. I'm referring to the platforms from which they are based. Veta platform for one example.

@SSSDiaz7 ROFL - That car was designed in Australia from the ground up at a cost of $1 Billion. The Aussies also designed the Pontiac GTO which was available in Australia from 2002; based on the RWD platform from the VT Holden Commodore from 1997! American people must love mushrooms - (kept in the dark and fed shit).

actually a bit less about 3995 empty, so yeah with driver about 4250+ pounds, which is almost as heavy as a Lincoln Town Car, which is pretty "whack" considering they put such a nice engine in the G8. Shame on Pontiac, all they nneedded to do was put the G8 on a diet and get it down to the 3500LB range and it would be so much faster.

Actually! THey installed pre-production SLP Headers gained 21HP to Rear Tire, Pre-Production Cold Air-Intake Gained 9HP to Rear Tire. New Pre-Production Cam just installed. With new converter without headers and CAI the Car went 12.1 @ 114MPH in the HEAT. No Nitrous!!!!
