Yes, when the target is within the range of secondary guns, they'll fire.

I wish they had a US naval challenge series. A great example would be the USS Washington in action.

@Fischer0Dude I really shouldn't say replaced, but, succeeded by the Ise Class Battleship (the Ise and her sister ships were both hybrids in 1944)

@Fischer0Dude So that's is why the Ise Class Battleship replaced the Fuso Class, the Ise had the same armament as the Fuso. But in 1944 she had her last 2 turrets replaced by a "Flight deck." From then on she was a hybrid battleship
