This video is a very informal (and kind of redundant) tutorial, basically teaching a lift as I know it/learned it. I demonstrate and break down the lift as best I can, and I show a few variations you can use, including the "beam me up/vortex/corkscrew. Hope it can help someone out, this was actually the very first "trick" I ever learned, so I had a lot of fun making this video :)
This is a good tutorial! I am practicing vortexes right now, alternating between waist and hip hooping just to keep myself entertained. I love hooping, but I get frustrated sometimes, so it helps to move from one thing to another and I've been planning on practicing halos and lifts to make my routine more interesting. I just started two days ago, so the basics still seem so cool to me! Haha, I really just want to develop some flow, and you have definitely given me hope!! :)
