I too was one convinced of the "truths" of science. I was a hardcore agnostic. I fully believed that there was a greater power out there, but was convinced that it was not this God the bible spoke of. But that same God changed all that. I had me a good old fashion "Damascus road" experience, and in similar manner too (although not truly worthy of comparison too) the Apostle Paul, when the scales feel from my eyes, Jesus Christ was not only very real....He was worth giving everything for.

funny thing is that each time they correct their thinking, they actually get closer to Genesis and to what God and the Holy Bible (which is His written word for mankind) have said all along. Many scientist are now discovering that the real truth they are searching for has been there all along. Speaking as someone who has and does see "everyday proof" of God, I want you to know that I am praying for you. I too wish we could sit down and talk face to face. I know where you are coming from.

In regards to your comment on evolution and on science in general let me just say this. Every few centuries these scientists sit down, and realize that what they have been saying isn't right and they change it. Look back through the history of science and you will see exactly what I am talking about. At one time scientists could prove the earth was the center of the universe. We now know that to be insane. At one time the earth was flat. At one time....at one time....

I was a hardcore christian raised with in a christian family and went to church for a majority of my life. I was raised from birth believing what you probably do now. The main problem I have is why pick Christianity over Islam? Or any other religion? Is it simply because it sounds better? Or are people so far into their belief that they think their religious book holds more significance than others leading them to quote it as if it means anymore than a unverified supernatural claim.

If only you knew in person someone mature in Christ.They act far differet from the normal person. I wish I could speak to you in person for things like this. You said you've never seen everyday proof of God."Seek and you shall find". There is probably atleast one person near you now who could tell you more. Not everyone accepts the religion that theyre born into. I was similar to you when I was younger.I wouldnt be able to tell you so much so far if I didn't look myself.Realtionship not religion

I read the verses and whole chapters its ok to quote(not "quite" lol) and now its a problem abouthow you look at it. The entire Bible can't be understood unless 1.) The person is born again and God reveals it to him/her which from the looks of it you aren't. 2.) Listing the verses was indeed helpful("I shall make an(as in singular) help(the animals couln't help him) meet for him".) 3.)Why not look into the new testemant, all you can seem to attempt to prove wrong is the old. Evolution is currently science's best explanation of how Humans came to be regardless of religious beliefs. I could go on and on about evolutionary evidence and facts that leads us to the conclusions that we have made, but it is far more effective to have you look into it unless you want info from me. As for genesis, would you prefer me to quite the exact parts of the bible that contradict, i thought listing the verses was good enough.

There is a difference of reading of Him and truly feeling the proximity of His love. When you feel His glory for but just a moment, you feel something so powerful you cannot deny. If you are here then you recognize Him to a degree. If you come closer to Him, your purpose is truly fulfilled. Have faith and you will understand one day. I felt His love in a dream for just a few seconds and I woke up gasping for air because the feeling of love and life was beyond anything I can describe!
