This is just one of many jobs a PI can do... There is bail enforcement (only pays about 10-20% of the bail), skip tracing, process serving, Exec Protect/ security, Corp espionage investigation, and many other small cases like BG checks... Its not a glamorous life and pay sucks unless u live in a big city....

Depends on the job and the client, it's kind of a submissive job. What I mean by that is that you're in the end NOT a cop and have less rights so it limits your capability. You also get held more accountable for things, mess with a drug dealer and you're dead. People think this job is "fun" or safe, IT'S NOT. You should never get into something you can't handle.
