  • Would be a long way for you to travel, it was a speed plate shoot in the UK.

10 different stages, plates from 1 inch to 4 inches, distances from 7 to 20 metres.

    Excellent day :o)

  • I wonder if large capacity magazines are allowed...

  • That would have been cool..:-) but unfortunately the rules were only ten rounds in the magazine at once but as many mags as you wanted, hence the frantic reloading!

  • How about 1 in the chamber? So after you shoot 10 rounds, pop in another mag and you don't have to rack the action to add another round.

  • Afraid not, they will only let you use 10 at any one time.

But tried that once before on a speed steel shoot kept loading another mag and racking the action, therefore loosing a live round... Doh!

You got to remember to count your shots as well as everything else... :-(

  • Ruger 10/22?

  • Yep, with a Volquartson trigger unit, a lightweight barrel & a Fagen thumbhole stock.

  • WOW they let you shoot in the UK? I was thinking it would be faster to shoot 9 and just do a mag change, but this fellow is charging the gun as he mounts it very quickly after shooting it empty.

  • Do you think the best magazines are the factory Ruger mags? Thanks!

  • damn u got skillz with a z!

  • that was fuckin amazing! fast shooting like that is hard as hell 1) while standing 2) with a rifle and 3) with a scope.

  • I could walk to Alaska swim across the Bearing Sea and then Walk from Asia to France. Then it would be a just a short swim to across the Channel. It would be a very pleasent and scenic stroll from here. LOL!

  • Where was that shoot held? It looks like fun. I live in central Oregon.
