@floridaboy22 Expressing sexual orientation does not limit the rights of any group.
-
@KoreaxxLove Lol okay. My point exactly you can have all your rights and privileges but not those across the field.
-
@floridaboy22 What you don't understand is this: not accepting the behavior is a choice by someone else. It's bigotry. It's a problem with them.
No one said to not exercise your religion. You can exercise as you please. But, you do not have the right to oppress someone else. You can exercise your religion without discriminating against another group. Say you don't like it--whatever, but you can't discriminate.
It's not a sin. You wouldn't distance yourself from it just by not knowing about it.
-
@KoreaxxLove But thats what I'm trying to get you to understand. Some people in this country won't just accept this behavior. We have a right to religion also. Exercising our right we live as Christians which calls for us to separate ourselves from sin. We don't dislike anyone but we know what it is. We couldn't call ourselves his people if we didn't try to help (Not Judge). Asking someone to stay in the closet is oppression and telling someone not to exercise their religion is???????
-
@floridaboy22 Asking someone to stay in the closet is oppression. I would know.
People want to be who they want to be--that is a natural, God-given right--a right that they are serving to protect.
Believing that the guy in the shower next to you wants to do something to you just because he's gay is the problem--not the guy admitting he is gay.
If people just learn to get comfortable around gay people, in a few decades time, it won't matter. But, keeping things like DADT, makes it worse.
-
@floridaboy22 They could still serve and live their lives they just couldn't bring it around others. Now we're getting our rights and beliefs pushed aside and they get everything they desire. No need to call me a name you don't like how I feel and I don't agree with you (That gets settled with compromise from all parties)
-
@KoreaxxLove No it's it's not. Nothing you just said is true lol. DADT was a middle ground for both sides. If everyone can't be happy no one should be happy. Both sides had to sacrifice something. We had to sacrifice being in close quarters, sharing community showers, and everything else we do on a daily with homosexuals we just couldn't identify the individuals. The other side was able to serve since that's all they "CLAIM" they want to do they just couldn't talk about that one personal issue!!
