There is a beautiful, cold, Z-shaped hallway in 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT. What would it sound like if it were raining in this somewhat darksome and dampish corridor? We have created a magical space in which a splash of water echoes through with every step one takes on the concrete floor. How our piece works is quite simple; it produces sound of splash as a visitor takes a step in the hallway. As a matter of course, however, the image or memory of rain for each visitor is infinite in variety. We hope that this piece serves as a catalyst to let visitors bring back memories of rain in their own ways.
