You serious? That comparison is equal to have to turn your IPod on when somebody attacks you on the streets.

@MIXMASTERPETRO I would simply say that this is a karate legend grown old (probably shortly before he died). Oyama has been supreme rock'n roll in Karate in his prime. Even though already old and probably even sick, he still lives his art and teaches. I'd like to see you, myself or anyone else somewhere between 60 or 70 doing powerful kicks. Simply watch some of his older movies, or take a look at any arbitrary Kyokushin video and you will see what impact this man had!

@borobei No, but some instructors teach different things from their own personal experiences and different arts they have learned.

is it me or this style seems to be more about muscular strengt of the perticular muscle needed to every hit instead of full body action mouvement? Just asking I don't know this style?

@araos90
no , it is karate , not much difference in technique or philosophy ,its tournament rules are different from other styles which made it very distinguished , that and the exceptional character and success of its founder , and that he died undefated after fighting the strongest men inthe world .
