I've got a 97 I don't plan on ever selling as well.. I even have a spare 01 motor in case anything does go on it .Most fun bike I've ever ridden. I come out of bike trade shows and still want my TL .Too much fun I've had mine since 02 , latest mod is the TLR polished swingarm swap

I love my TL, I will always have room for her in my garage. I still get a stupid grin
every time I put her in gear. If your looking for a Japanese V-Twin super sport, forget the Superhawk, its not even close to the TLs, just the opposite of the superbikes with the RC-51 being so much better than the TL1000r.

@lupismike Same here. 97 TLS, bought in 2000 lol. Raced numerous bikes since and the TLS is the one bike I'll never sell. If you havent ridden one you just dont know!

I have a 97 TL bought it brand new in 2000. I have no idea why they called a showroom anchor. Best bike ever I'll never sell it. It's my baby.

I have a TL1000S, 97 with a bit of tuning. You will die if you ride with no respect, but that goes for any bike. It's a big pussy cat really, but I will never sell mine. Once you have one if it gets inside you it's terminal. I have friends who sold Blades and Milles before they'd part with their TL :)

they say u havnt ridden ,till youve ridden a super v twin ay? The TL has a cult status ! its a very special bike ,if u ever own one u will find out why, omg!! not for novices !
