Playing some riffs based on a Marshall JVM amp model on my Fractal Audio Axe-FX II. This was my first attempt at creating a patch for this device. Next time I will use less reverb.
Riffs Played:
Accept - "Balls To The Wall"
Mercyful Fate - "Night"
Tesla - "Modern Day Cowboy"
Mercyful Fate - "Satan's Fall"
Ozzy Osbourne - "Rock and Roll Rebel"
Motley Crue - "Looks That Kill" - tuned to D with Transtrem
Motley Crue - "Girls, Girls, Girls" - tuned to D with Transtrem
Motley Crue - "Dr. Feelgood" - tuned to D with Transtrem

Gear used:

Panasonic DMC-ZS7 HD Camera
Steinberger Newburgh GM5TA Guitar with EMG 89/SA pickups
Fractal Audio Axe-FX II
KRK Rokit 6 RPG2 Monitors
Reaper 64 bit recording software
Cyberlink PowerDirector 9 64 bit Video Editing Software

Enjoy!

  • Cool!! How does the Transtrem work and is it accurate with the tuning changes and is it easy to setup?

  • @rastadarrin the transtrem has different notches on it to lock it into different tunings. It is pretty accurate with the tunings and not hard to setup if you use the proper calibrated strings with it.

  • Hold the fuck up. That guitar looks awkward to play...

  • Sounds awesome! Will you post that on the forum to the preset exchange?
