A beautiful song for Hanukkah sung by the PS22 Chorus of 2009 in Hebrew. The kids do a really great job here.

  • I am a lifelong music educator and I have got to say that was WONDERFUL!!! Kudos to the children and their incredible music teacher!

So there, all ye critics of public education who constantly decry our schools and insist that our teachers and kids are stupid and lazy and incompetent!!!

    IN YOUR FACE!!!! YEAH!!!

  • i respectfully but completely disagree with the "damage" you refer to. kids need to learn how to laugh at themselves, and not take teasing seriously. what if i broke down and cried damage every time my students ribbed me? if i laugh at them and myself, and vice-versa, they learn not to take themselves too seriously. i think this lesson helps in the schoolyard and in life. and i think it's obvious here that nobody is taking my jesting seriously at all, least of all the 'ugly' kid... ;)

  • amazing kids, amazing performance!

  • @sr0925 First of all, 'refua shlama' - hope you are feeling better. I hope you have been lighting the candles at home! חג שמח

  • They are wonderful! They know the words better than many Jewish kids! Greetings from Israel!

  • WAAAAOOWWW, that was amazing!!! really beautifull!!!

  • This is what possibly the LORD GOD delights in, when children sing to him.

  • Absolutely beautiful! Thank you!

  • On this, the first night of Chanukah I am sick in bed with a bad cold instead of out at a candle lighting somewhere. I looked up videos of this song to try to make myself feel better and luckily for me, this was the first thing to pop up. Watching this made me feel as if I was with my entire family lighting the menorah. I would also like to say that the little girl who had the solo has some voice.

  • One of the things I used to love about living in New York was the way we all celebrated each other having festivals.

  • THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! LOTS OF TALENT!

  • WOW.. they sang it so Harftfel- and seemd to be enjoying them selfs- this would never have happen when I was a kid. *awestruk*
