@bigdaddyvtec ....so that the pulse goes to ground instead of thru the eletronics....everytime we undid connections they had to be checked with a milli-ohm meter when reconnected to make sure it had a clear path TO GROUND...........you say im wrong, but give no explanation of how you come to that conclusion...Id say I have a little experience in the subject (12 years)

@bigdaddyvtec well dude...unless an aircraft frame is different, because on a emp hardened aircraft, the electronics is shielded , and the shielding is grounded to the FRAME of the aircraft

sorry but i think this wont work.. since a emp is a wide scale thing and high powered pulses and a cell phone uses low powered signals its a totaly diffrent mater

@chriskieninger It does not need a ground.. the ground could act as a antenna and actually compromise your Faraday / emp box.

sorry.....it isnt going to stop any emp . I worked to over 10 years on emp hardened aircraft( the B-1b)....unless it has a path to ground to disperse the emp, its gonna fry it....
