as much as I totally agree with everything on here, the one thing that I don't agree with is blaming the Customer Service agents, why? cause I am one and I know first hand that I hate having to tell people that I can't do anything for them, but I work for Ticketmaster and I don't get to make the decisions and I don't influence anyone. You think you can just say "i buy so many tickets, do me a favor" and then i can ask my boss. it doesn't work like that. We do what we can, but our hands are tied.

My problem is that I'm 15 and wanting to go to a Selena Gomez concert with my friend whos also 15. (Were obv. old enough to go by ourselves, I mean it's Selena Gomez) but in order to get the tickets we want, and without selling out we must buy online thru ticketmaster, my dad would have to buy them again, cause were just 15 we don't have credit cards. But no, paperless ticketing would make my dad spend another $80 for a ticket for a person he doesn't even know of...

the venue decides to use the paperless ticket system. its NOT up to ticketmaster...I work for ticketmaster and I know this for a fact...blame the venue.

You realize that the option for paperless tickets, in honesty all delivery methods, are actually designated by the venue. Ticketmaster just sells the tickets, it's up to the event promoters to decide all of the details.

Sounds like 304Urban is a plant for Ticketmaster. Get out of your parents basement and get a life, numb nuts.

@pineal2012 no one is forcing you to do anything... dont go if your going to wine like a bitch

@TITANIUMDX ticketmaster sells tickets on behalf of the box office... if u want a cleaner venue then get your mom to clean it up
-
@bubs2005 lol no one "sold" you tickets retard you BOUGHT them and gave them your credit card number and AGREED to no refunds or exchanges lol genius!

F*ck TicketMaster. Those *ssholes sold me tickets to a concert and when it turned out that I couldn't go the only way I could get my money out of them was to use their reselling outlet at which time they f*cked me again by selling my tickets at full price and only giving me the ticket price less the convenience charges. Now TicketF*ckingMaster has sold the same set of tickets and received twice the convenience charges. What a crock of sh*t. No more ticketless concerts for me.
i agree with you 100%,went to see metallica at the o2 arena last week and it was paperless ticketing, BUT, we had to queue OUTSIDE the venue at booths to show i.d. and give credit cards then to my astonishment they go in the back and fetch your real (paper)ticket and give it to you.Firstly there is nothing paperless about it and secondly I could have gone straight to the parking lot and sold them if I'd wanted. Waste of time, money and effort if you ask me, and thats without issues u brought up

Wow... that's even worst than I realized... Thanks for adding more to the point. I only made this video for a little fun and to let people know more about it so they won't get burned by Ticketmaster.
Your info makes this video even more valuable to ticket buyers.
Thanks

JUST TO BE CLEAR TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T GET THIS... I am NOT a scalper - I'm just a music fan who got brushed off by Ticketmaster's CUSTOMER SERVICE when I called for help with my 'Paperless Tickets'.
I am NOT sympathetic to scalpers - BUT I DON'T CONSIDER Ticketmaster to be our saviors from scalper prices...They're just as bad!
So instead of doing nothing - I'm actually doing something to get the word out about the problem ...(With a bit of humor!)
Thanks for watching and commenting!

I agree... Scalpers fucked us. I'm not against having assigned names put on tickets - but having to produce the purchasing credit card at the event is silly... the tickets were a gift from my dad (who lives in another country) That's a ridiculous flaw in their system!

absolutely right....
but you gotta realize that this would seriously screw scalpers over, which is is something they're used to doing to people like me....
have you ever had to ay $220 to see U2 from the highest nosebleed section? i have... cause thats how much the scalper wanted....
i was even one of those guys who logged on to ticketmaster as soon as they went on sale, but i still didnt get any....
i think this would help most, not all, real fans out.

It's good in theory BUT
1. Ticketmaster themselves own TICKETNOW which is a company that Re-Sells event tix at a premium... So they're no better!
2. The reality is many fans don't buy tickets on their own credit cards. They often use friends or Family cards because of age or monetary level... You shouldn't need to own a credit card to see a band you love!
It's easy to applaud the "supposed upside" of this system cause Scalpers DO suck... but for many of us - it makes it EVEN harder!
