  • HUN, just a quick question, just coz Im a big girl too, but still under 100kgs, my midwife told me I couldn't have an ultrasound till 22 weeks, to find out the sex, coz of my weight, she said they wouldn't be able to see anything! I was so offended, I never had that problem with my daughter! Did they mention anything like that to you, or have any problems during the scan? coz the hospital booked me in at 20 weeks, so im going with that, stuff the midwife!!!

  • @YoungAussieFamily change midwifes! what a horrible thing to say. We had our scan at 20 weeks. They can still see its just not as clear due to the "extra layers". The only "problem" i had was some of the ultrasound techs were a bit insensitive but who cares lol. You will be fine, there shouldnt be any trouble at all. Keep me posted on how you get on :)

  • congrats on ur wedding and the baby boy! I really appreciate your updates. I have a question for you...have you experienced any insomnia during the pregnancy so far? I'm only 17 weeks now and am having the hardest time sleeping through the night.

  • @AfroPufChic thanks the wedding was awesome. i dont really have any trouble sleeping so far. the only time i will take a while to get to sleep is when i have slept during the day. i normally just stay up until i am quite tired so iam really ready to go to sleep, regardless of the time. thanks

  • put yourself in his situation. Would you want your parents to cut off a part of your genitals?

  • Greetings, from Germany!

Good that you do reflect on the very issue, in due time!

From my personal experience I can state that there is nothing wrong with the PrePuce. Please respect and appreciate the bodily entity of your precious offspring, and do not let anyone do anything with that most intimate part of his! UNLESS for immediate, demanding medical rasons (as applies for any part of the body).

I cross my fingers for you! And for HIM!

  • @adamastorBassBar It's common sense, if a girl doesn't wash daily, it'll not be a pleasant odour. Though, if she does - there is still a "smell," which isn't at all offensive. An intact, clean penis has the same non offensive odour. The only scent from a cut penis is the sweat from the pubic and scrotum, and then, of course, the precum. The fact that there are estrogen receptors in the foreskin, which need to be further studied, is extremely intriguing to me. There's more to it than looks.

  • @adamastorBassBar "hey, if I had any more sensation, I'd be walking around with a glassy look on my face" Again, the foreskin covers the glans during everyday life, which prevents direct sensations, also protecting from thickening over time. You wouldn't be walking around getting glassy, unless you wanted to... that's a whole nother topic. As time goes on, you'll realize that your glans aren't as sensitive. That smelly bit is actually erotic, if clean, for experienced women; /watch?v=xu6y4CbJkEg

  • @adamastorBassBar Penile cancer studies in the U.S. did show higher rates amoung uncircumsized men. Though, the same studies, when applied in other countries where circumcision isn't the culture, penile cancer rates were actually lower overall. So, I don't think penile cancer has much to do with the foreskin, and more to do with something underlying (diet, perhaps?). It's also worth noting that cut men are a global minority. In countries where it's not the culture, women prefer uncut men.

  • @adamastorBassBar You've got a very limited control group, and your personal study doesn't hold water considering they could just be telling you what you want to hear. If you're hygenic (never met a boy who didn't enjoy washing himself in the shower :P), smegma is easily cleaned away. Also, smegma is present in all mammals. It's not a cause for concern. And yes, the foreskin does have immunological properties, despite what circ advocates would have you believe.

  • @Tzara86 "Women who claim........" Nonsense! I've slept with one or two women who have only had CC'd partners (probably because they didn't want to go elsewhere) but the majority of women I've known who have experienced both have preferred cut guys (and I don't think they were just being kind) or have simply not indicated a preference - you know: I don't actually poll them on this issue when I'm intimate - I have better things to do - but the ladies who have remarked have come out in favour.

  • @Tzara86 (2) To say that the immunological system is removed is just plain nonsense: CC decreases the chance of penile cancer, genital warts and yeast bacteria due to build-up of smegma (yeuchh) ! Lastly - it is spurious to claim that either length OR circumference is reduced by circumcision: it's medically impossible.

  • @Tzara86 "What cc removes:........." Yeah yeah yeah, I've heard all the hype before and read it a score of times on YT and elsewhere by people like you who take it upon yourself to "re-educate" people. Where do you get off?

The frenulum is not necessarily completely removed: I still have mine. My glans has always had natural colouration, there are still many feet of blood vessels left on the shaft and glans: hey, if I had any more sensation, I'd be walking around with a glassy look on my face

  • @Tzara86 I know what I've been "told" about the foreskin, (and not just from the unfriendly anti-circ sites of late, of which there are many) but also from friends who weren't done, and problems they have had. I'm quite capable thank you, of making my own mind up, and I know I'm lucky that my parents chose the procedure for me. No horrible, smelly, flangy bit hanging off the end thanks.

  • @Tzara86 "You can't handle the truth..." First of all, don't presume to tell me what's in my mind. "You refuse to listen...." You actually haven't informed very much at all, only stated and restated your own misconceptions and prejudices. Don't quote "trendy" psychology to me - it won't wash. Human rights? Oh please! Go to China, N.Korea, Yemen, Syria, Burma et al, stand on your soapbox about HR, come back( if indeed you are lucky enough to be able), then presume to lecture the rest of us on HR.

  • @adamastorBassBar Women who claim sex is great with a cut male, or that it simply looks better has been only exposed to such. It's proven that a cut penis will draw female lubrication out of the vagina with the ridge of the glans. The lack of moisture combined with the abrasive ridge of the glans creates excessive friction. Intact, the foreskin collects behind the ridge of the glans to create a buffer. The frenulum also acts as a thrust inhibitor which forms a natural thrust to clitoris.
