  • is there gonna be a big 10-year memorial this year at the TU/A&M game this year?

  • I havent heard anything offical but i would expect something pregame and halftime if not more... maybe also a patch on the uniforms or a sticker on the helmets.

  • @txaggie2011 great guess, they did all of that

  • @crazybryanmofo : thanks. it kindof wasnt just a blind guess though... i'm in the know with that kind of stuff.

  • i just wish they will have that tradition back. The president (Murano) will review it all. It is a tradition. Even if i'm a longhorn...i think the spirit of rivalry and brotherhood is all that matters.

    Good luck aggies!

Hook 'em and gig 'em! And wreck those raiders!

  • This happend my freshman year at UT...the day it happend a load of my friends (who I graduated HS with & who were also attending UT with) got together to pray for those missing/parished. We had some close friends at UT from our HS class so it was torture waiting to hear from them. The night UT held the memorial instead of the Hex Rally...tears flowed all around. Our HS friends came home to Austin to be w/us. May the 12 fallen Aggies Rest in Peace Always...can't believe it's 10 yrs almost!!

  • @NolanRodgers2 I guess karma hit you. Youre country's economy is worse than ours, theres riots in london, you have a stupid accent, and you still have queens and kings that are so damn old they could be a halloween costume. :)

  • @salamisumo2 Pointing out the extreme stupidity of others isn't narcissistic.

  • @lemonrind Damn, you're quite the narcissistic ass, aren't you?

  • that was a very sad tragedy...

  • @RyderDavis You don't know anything about bonfire. First of all bonfire was extremely safe. In it's 90 year history until 1999 only three students were killed, and one wasn't kIlled at the site itself but while driving home in an accident. The logs were donated by landowners who wanted their land cleared. This particular bonfire was only 40 feet high. Bonfire was a tradition about unity, and there is nothing greater when it comes to student bodies.

    .

  • Hey, you want to know how to avoid a bonfire collapse? Don't build an unnecessary 109 foot inferno. What an idiotic, non-nonsensical tradition. What a waste of time, money, natural resources, and human life.

  • @bevostumpedrevielle Yeah, who cares about academics. I wanna watch me some fire! Yee-haw! Then I'm gonna watch them throw that there football around. Yeah!

China is going to kill us.

  • i know this is a texas A&M tribute and I mean no disrespect. I dont remember what I said since it was a long time ago when I first commented, but if I offended anyone, it was not my intention and I sincerely apologize. RIP to the unfortunate 12 who lost thier lives in this terrible tragedy.
