Original soundtrack for a video film by Wonder Product, shot in India (Benares & Calcutta), and based on a text by writer Carole Naggar (entitled "Cité du Sang"), recited by the late and sublime actress Delphine Seyrig (of Marguerite Duras fame), with dreamy music by Tuxedomoon members Steven Brown & Blaine L. Reininger.
The record and the film revolve around two themes: the alterations of the body, and sensuality as a form of intense spirituality (as in mediaeval mysticism).
