My question has to do with international actors that aren't necessarily positive or democratic actors. In the 1848 example you have Russia, which acted to reinforce authoriatian rule in some countries. What are your thoughts on the potential for actors such as Saudi Arabia to continue acting the way it has in Bahrain, and also possibly Iran in other places, to keep the order that exists? Would there be political consequences for taking those actions from larger instituitons like NATO, the UN or U.S.?
