All religion is based on believe in the unknown, or the Occult. Therefore, all religions are - considering your reality tunnel - based on madness.

@Cybervue I respect your right to believe as you wish. I know you respect my right to the same. I hold the polar opposite view as you, as regards your last statement; that, the "religion" I believe, is NOT based on the "unknown," but on The Known. Any intelligent person who has lived half their life and who has looked at the universe, the human body, plants, animals, reproduction, the "cycle of life," and who then says that there is NO CREATOR, is either lying to himself, or insane.

This may seem like a lame comment but dont take it that way does anyone else think Jack Parsons looks alot like Jhonny Knoxville?

One doesn't believe in the occult, one participates in it to acquire knowledge. Belief is something completely different.

i believe nothing. nevertheless, i will say this:
i'm of the mind that someone believing their flawed perception to be the whole of reality is a sign of madness. the evolution of orga is based largely on mutation; a kind of odd lurching forth of genetic progress upon which anomalies, given the circumstances, can actually serve as the stepping stones. because of this, we are working with flawed equipment. NOTHING looks, tastes, or sounds like you think it does. trust nothing.

Was that a Crowley quote?

magick is about achieving the unity with all of infinity and all of eternity. Anyone who believes anything else has not done their homework.
I don't take it the wrong way. Just that whenever comparisons to looks, shouldn't it be the person who lived first who gets to be the one 'compared'. So it would be that 'Doesn't Johnny Knoxville look like Jack Parsons?"
Personally I used to think Vince Vaughn looked like him.
