Sherman Filterbank 1 / a short trip through the german HARZ

Patch from soundsource Doepfer A100 Modular System filtered through the Sherman Filterbank 1. Unspectacular, but it would be a shame if it goes lost in the wide space of my harddrives ;) I'm not really excited about the Filterbank 1, maybe the SFb 2 is much better (?), but last not least for experimental patches it makes fun.
The video shows some steps of a route through the german HARZ which isn't far away from my home area. I made the record in March 09, didn't expect before that there's still so much snow.

the sound of the filter when the LFO dips down to close the filter - that's really stunning, like it's making "thhhhh" sound. I would love to harness that tone. gotta get me one of these.

that's indeed nothing special - the Filterbank I is not so much different from the II - the II has a few more options for tweaking and a slighty softer sound

i have the FbI and it's one of my favourite devices - just love the sound
